The grape clusters are truncate-conical in shape, with loosely arranged, large berries, and an average cluster weight of 210–213 g. The berries are round, dark red-violet, weighing 1.5–1.7 g, with relatively thick skin covered in abundant bloom. The variety has good frost tolerance (down to –22°C) and good resistance to grey rot. Grape ripening is relatively early, occurring between September 10 and 20. The average yield ranges between 6.0 and 6.2 kg per vine, and may exceed 28 tons per hectare in favorable years. The must has a high sugar concentration, averaging 210–213 g/l, and total acidity of 4.2–4.3 g/l H₂SO₄.
