FETEASCA NEAGRĂ 6 St.
The grape clusters are large and compact, medium to large in size, with an average weight of 180–220 g. The berries are spherical, medium-sized (1.6–1.8 g), with a dark violet-black skin covered in bloom, and a juicy pulp. Grape ripening is relatively early for a red variety, occurring between September 15 and 25. The average grape yield ranges between 2.2 and 4.0 kg per vine, and can reach up to 16 tons per hectare in favorable years. The must has a high sugar concentration, averaging 210–240 g/l, and acidity between 2.3 and 3.5 g/l H₂SO₄. The variety shows high tolerance to frost (down to –24°C) and is used to produce high-quality wines in the D.O.C. and D.O.C.C. categories.
