Project objective
Early detection of water stress in grapevines through the application of advanced irrigation and fertigation management in vineyard plantations.
Estimated results
Development of a procedure for establishing technological elements related to irrigation and fertilization management, based on a multisensor and multispectral approach, aimed at rapid diagnosis of soil and plant water and nutrient stress in valuable native grapevine varieties;
Irrigation management according to the dynamics of synthetic parameters reflecting the nutritional status of table grape crops, by scheduling irrigations using computerized localized irrigation systems combined with fertigation;
Improved technological sequences for the early identification of nutritional stress and for the balanced application of fertilization and irrigation, according to the actual consumption of table grapevine plants.
