Ștefănești 30 – cultivar obtained through genetic selection in the Pablo cultivar population
Plant characteristics:
-Cultivar with indeterminate growth;
– Forms 8-10 inflorescences per stem, with 3-5 fruits per inflorescence;
Fruit characteristics:
– Very large fruit (average weight 280-330 g), in the peduncular area presents a slight costation, the cap at maturity is absent, the fruit is at maturity of intense red color, with high firmness and pleasant and balanced taste (average acidity of 4.0% g/l malic acid, and soluble dry matter is 4.0-4.5% and can exceed 5% in organic crops);
Ripening period:
– The ripening period is late;
Tolerance:
– High tolerance to the main diseases specific to tomatoes grown in protected areas;
– Resistance to cracking;
– Cultivar resistant to storage;
– It is recommended for classical or organic cultivation, in protected areas and with a training system;
Average production:
– Very productive cultivar, with appropriate technology it can exceed 5 kg/plant;
Production direction:
– It is suitable for fresh consumption and industrialization;
